ALL ABOUT ME

Dionne by Faith Dionne was born from my desire to see women of color leading in the fashion industry. From a young age, I noticed that men often dominated the creative direction of women’s wear brands, and I knew I wanted to change that. Growing up in my grandmother Mildred Williams' salon, where she also ran a plaza as an interior decorator, florist, and hairstylist, I was inspired by her entrepreneurial spirit. She equipped me with the tools to pursue my goals.

At 16, my mother, Tamika Allen, allowed me to use a closet space to start sewing and making hair bows, which I sold to friends and local cheerleading teams under my first brand, Faith’s Fabulous Bows. My passion for design grew even more when I attended a summer program at SCAD in Savannah, GA, where I fell in love with the diverse cultures and creative energy. I knew then that I wanted to be a SCAD Bee, and I pursued a degree in Fashion Design.

From there I’ve worked with companies such as Thesa Stylista, P.Cotton Design, Milano Di Rouge and more.

As of 2024, we decided to push forward and drop our first capsule collection.
